Create a report which is defined as landscape (by making width 11 and height 8.5 in the properties for the report). When you do print preview, it shows as landscape which is correct. This is clearly a bug, not a misunderstood feature...

Ssrs linked reports not updating steam keeps updating

Isn't the whole point of making a link report to have nearly all of its properties(especially pagination) propogated from the parent to the linked report.

If you haven't enabled the modification via the report manager interface to adjust pagination and instead force us to use a script isn't that just more evidence this is a bug that needs fixing instead of a script work around?

I don't understand how pagination properties being propogated wouldn't be considered a critical flaw in linked reports. At this time when you create linked reports, the page margin information is not propagated from the parent report to the linked report.

Sure it can be scripted but why bother with a report manager interface at all if your answer is to script everything? You can work around this by using a script that run in the tool.

Is the page margin information not being propagated from the parent report to the linked report intentional - for what purpose/feature did this choice serve?

I'm new to Connect's bug report workflow, is it standard practice to decide not to fix ie "Won't Fix" anything you find a work around for?

Under what circumstances does a bug deserve a real/permanent fix vs a workaround?

"the page margin information is not propagated from the parent report to the linked report"Um..

I have provided sample code below to help you do this.
